This policy explains what information bakhoor.co.in (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit the site, why, and what choices you have. We collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
When you leave a comment
We store the name, email address and comment you submit, plus your IP address and browser details to help detect spam. Your email address is never shown publicly. Your comment and name are public once approved. An anonymised string created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to show your profile picture, if you have one.
When you browse the site
Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic server logs (IP address, pages requested, browser type and time) to keep the site secure and working. We don’t currently use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. If we add any, we will update this policy first.
When you contact us
If you email us, we keep your message and email address only to reply and to follow up on your request.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you can choose to save your name and email in cookies so you don’t have to type them again; these last for one year. If you log in, WordPress sets cookies needed for your session. We don’t use advertising cookies.
Embedded content
Some pages include videos embedded from YouTube. Embedded content behaves as if you visited YouTube directly: YouTube may collect data about you, use cookies and track your interaction with the video, under Google’s privacy policy.
Who we share data with
We don’t sell or rent your personal data. Data is processed only by the services needed to run the site: our web host (Hostinger) and the services named above. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Approved comments and their details are kept until you ask us to remove them. Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, including your comments. In India, this includes your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. To make a request, use our contact page.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page if the way we handle data changes, for example if we add a newsletter or analytics, and change the date at the top.
